Locks

Ports of Stockholm handles the Hammarby locks. They are located in connection with the Skansbron which has vertical clearance** of 11,4 meters and 12,8 meters free height*.

The fee to pass through the locks from Lake Mälaren to the Baltic is SEK 250. Payment by card only, no cash. The other direction is free of charge. A season pass costs SEK 1125 and can be purchased at the locks.

Vessels with an LOA exceeding 50 metres will get free mooring assistance at the Hammarby locks.

Lockage possible all year round. Between 23.30 and 06.30 please ordered five hours in advance, and confirm one hours in advance.
